🌍 Working together to tackle energy poverty
I was pleased to represent the Municipality of Kastoria and the Kastoria Chamber at the recent meeting with beneficiaries of the EPAH Technical Assistance 2026, held at the Energy Poverty Alleviation Office in Athens.
The meeting brought together representatives from municipalities and local organisations participating in the Technical Assistance programme and provided a valuable opportunity to exchange experiences, discuss our priorities and better understand the next steps for the implementation of our respective workplans.
For Kastoria, this support is particularly important as we work towards developing practical, locally tailored approaches to addressing energy poverty and strengthening the resilience of our community.
The exchange with the Energy Poverty Alleviation Office of Athens, which presented its work and experience as a good practice, was especially valuable. Learning from existing approaches while sharing our own local challenges and perspectives can help us develop solutions that respond to the real needs of our community.
🙏 Special thanks to INZEB and Alice Corovessi for its valuable support, expertise and commitment throughout this process, and for bringing together the EPAH beneficiaries and facilitating this important exchange of knowledge and experience.
I am very pleased to be part of this process and to contribute, through both the Municipality of Kastoria and the Kastoria Chamber, to building stronger cooperation between local authorities, businesses, experts and citizens.
💡 From knowledge exchange to local action — together for a fairer energy transition.
