Towards Green Transition

                                  Από τις πρώτες πρέσβειρες της Ευρωπαϊκής Πράσινης Συμφωνίας και του Συμφώνου για το Κλίμα είναι η  Κωνσταντίνα Τογκαρίδου , εμπειρογνώμων για τη δίκαιη μετάβαση (Just Transition Expert). Με βάση της τη Δυτική Μακεδονία η κυρία Τογκαρίδου δραστηριοποιείται στο κομμάτι της δίκαιης μετάβασης επιχειρώντας να "προωθήσει" την αναγκαιότητα της πράσινης μετάβασης προς την πράσινη ανάπτυξη. «Αυτό που τονίζω κάθε φορά είναι τους λόγους που ήταν επιτακτική ανάγκη η απολιγνιτοποίηση στην Δυτική Μακεδονία ως μέρος της ευρωπαϊκής Πράσινης Συμφωνίας. Συμμετέχω σε δράσεις οι οποίες έχουν να κάνουν με συσχετισμό περιβαλλοντολογικών θεμάτων και μιας δίκαιης μετάβασης και μιας πράσινης γενικότερα μετάβασης, μέσω της συμμετοχής μου σε σχετικά συνέδρια και σεμινάρια.   We organized the 2️⃣nd workshop in the framework of our MINED ERAMUS+ project in Thessaloniki 🇬🇷, which aims to develop a non-formal toolkit for pupils focusing on sustainability ♻️🌱🌍 We just finished the comprehensive analysis of participating countries' education systems 🇧🇬🇷🇴🇩🇪🇬🇷🇭🇺, we wanted to know how sustainability is embedded in the education system❓ It was an important step, now we are aware of differences, similarities and opportunities, so we can start developing the toolkit which could be easy integrated not just the 5 participating countries' educational systems, but more 💪 Education 🎓has a crucial role in green transition, we are motivated to develop this non-formal learning material to widen the knowledge of the children in this field👱‍♀️👱 and provide practical information material for teachers as well.

An excellent opportunity for professionals, authorities, stakeholders and NGOs to support further the on going coal phasing out process.   Ο  Ευρωπαϊκός Οργανισμός  EIT   FOOD  σε συνεργασία με τον οργανισμό AWomanCanBe.org ,  υλοποιούν το πρόγραμμα  ΕWA  (Empowering Women in Agrifood – Ενδυνάμωση γυναικών στον τομέα της Αγροδιατροφής),   με στόχο της ενδυνάμωση της γυναικείας επιχειρηματικότητας στον αγροδιατροφικό τομέα. Στο πλαίσιο του προγράμματος, οι υποψήφιες που θα επιλεγούν, θα λάβουν για 6 μήνες, συνεχή υποστήριξη για τις επιχειρήσεις και την ανάπτυξη των ιδεών/project τους, μέσω online training και εξατομικευμένου mentoring.  Επιπλέον θα έχουν πρόσβαση σε επενδυτές, ειδικούς και επιχειρηματίες που θα τις βοηθήσουν να εξελίξουν τις ιδέες και τις επιχειρήσεις τους.   C4T GROUNDWORK – Cohesion for Transitions (C4T) Community of Practice Expert I am honoured to have been selected as an external expert to support the delivery of C4T GROUNDWORK. The C4T Community of Practice is a community-based platform that aim to support EU Member States and regions to make a better use of EU funds for sustainability transitions. C4T engages national, regional, and local cohesion and sustainability transitions practitioners in sharing experience and good practices, creating partnerships and jointly identifying solutions. C4T also provides technical assistance to facilitate the development and/or implementation of sustainability transitions. In 2023, the Just Transition Platform (JTP) launched JTPeers Exchange, a peer-to-peer programme to facilitate in-person and online exchanges between practitioners from different Just Transition Fund (JTF) regions and JTPeers Experts to support the implementation of their Territorial Just Transition Plans (TJTP).  The programme offers the opportunity to mutually explore experienced challenges, collectively identify potential solutions and pathways forward and to learn from each other’s experiences. Seven matches between 12 JTF regions and 4 experts were set up, with topics varying between stakeholder engagement, energy communities, green economic diversification, land restoration, post-mining landscape, multi-level governance, and just transition observatories.
